IAGC has collected and compiled land and marine safety statistics since 1998. The objective of collecting the data is to encourage all members to continually improve their safety performance. The data collected helps member companies to identify those areas in seismic operations which pose the highest risks and guide them in the development of best practices.
Twelve (12) marine contractors and nine (9) land contractors submitted 2013 data which has been compiled (and redacted company information) and several charts and graphs are available illustrating the 2013 Safety Statistics. The 2013 Safety Statistics were presented at the recently held IAGC/OGP Joint HSE & Security Forum.
