The spring 2013 IAGC/OGP Joint HSE & Security Forum will be held 23 & 24 April 2013 in Oklahoma City, OK. Dawson Geophysical is hosting the Forum at the Cox Conference Center.
Vicki Huebler – ION (HSE & Security Steering Committee Chair), Randy Ingram – ExxonMobil (OGP HSSE Geophysical Subcommittee Chair) and Mark Nelson – Dawson Geophysical have been meeting to develop the agenda, which will include several external speakers addressing topics of interest to the seismic industry. Already they have received commitments from the US Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms (ATF) who will be discussing new policies/regulations that will impact the seismic industry and a representative from the Canadian Association of Geophysical Contractors (CAGC) who will provide an overview of their HSE & Security initiatives. The group continues pursuing additional external speakers that will cover topics of interest.
The final agenda will include company presentations of high potential incidences, a review of IAGC member company 2012 HSE Statistics (in composite format only), as well as updates on the various HSE & Security related activities occurring within the two Associations.
There is a limit of 125 attendees to this Forum and we are near capacity already. If you are intending to attend the Forum you are encouraged to register today. Registration for the Forum is available on the IAGC website.
